Digital Advertising in the United Kingdom

The UK was the first country that used half of its advertising dollars on digital advertising. It leads us to think they must be spending a lot of money since digital is the newest wave of advertising and most advertising majors would know digital media comes at a much cheaper price. Specifically, when considering the web, social media, and digital media that appears on portable devices. The UK spent 22 billion on Advertising in 2017 a minuscule amount compared to the United States’ 197 billion. “Deloitte estimates that for every £1 spent through the UK’s advertising industry, the economy as a whole benefits by £6.”

The UK may just be doing something right.
